糸遊｜いとゆふ｜itoyufu

糸遊（いとゆふ）とは、
クモが吐いた糸が空中をゆらゆらと浮遊し、
光を受けてキラキラと輝く現象です。

陽炎（かげろう）の別称でもあり、
決まった形はなく、消えたり現れたりしながら、
忽然と人の前に現れて心揺さぶる魔法のようなもの。

「芸術」と「陽炎」は、
なんがか似ているとおもいませんか。

藝術喫茶いとゆふは、
そんな「糸遊」の想いを込めた
ギャラリーカフェです。

糸遊に結びつきたる煙かな（芭蕉）

珈琲の湯気、人々の会話、
エスプレッソのスチームが立ち昇り、
空中でそれらが結びつく。

同じ空間に、
盆栽や器、アート作品が居合わせる。

"目立つのではなく、溶け込む。"
日本に脈々と受け継がれる余白の美学。

それぞれが重なり合い、
人と人、人と芸術のあいだに
目に見えない糸が結ばれる。

糸は、ご縁。
やがてその糸が織り重なり、網となる。

藝術喫茶いとゆふは、
広がりゆく可能性の「一本目」を
生み出す場所でありたいと考えています。

喫茶であり、ギャラリーでもある

芸術喫茶いとゆふでは、
ロースター監修のもと専用レシピを生み出し、
「美味しい一杯」を日々追究しています。

毎月、豆は1種類だけ。
挽き加減・ドリップ時間・温度・ドリッパーの種類など、
毎月の豆ごとに、レシピを変えていきます。

しかし、ここは味だけを楽しむ場所ではありません。

芸術喫茶いとゆふの最大の特徴は、
ギャラリーが併設されていること。

是非とも、美味しい珈琲を片手に、
奥にあるギャラリーへ足をお運びください。

ギャラリーは、想像力の世界。
味覚、視覚、嗅覚、聴覚、触覚。

五感を越境する場をご提供します。

藝術喫茶いとゆふは、
京都の工藝ブランド QUTOTEN. が
総合プロデュースしています。

2022年。
植物鉢の製作から始まったQUTOTEN.は、
日本の伝統・美意識から着想を得て、
あえて手間のかかる「手作りの器（工藝）」にこだわってきました。

いとゆふでは、
QUTOTEN.の器やプロダクトを
常設でご覧いただけます。

また、各期間の展示にあわせて、
アーティストとのコラボレーションを
生み出してゆく予定です。

itoyufu | いとゆふ

Itoyu refers to a phenomenon in which spider silk drifts softly through the air,
swaying gently and shimmering as it catches the light.

It is also known as another name for kagerō (heat haze).
Formless and fleeting, appearing and disappearing,
it suddenly reveals itself before us—
a quiet kind of magic that stirs the heart.

Art Café Itoyufu is a gallery café imbued with the spirit of Itoyu.

Steam rising from coffee, conversations between people,
the hiss of an espresso machine—
all drifting upward, intertwining in midair.

Within the same space,
bonsai, vessels, and works of art quietly coexist.

The aesthetics of space and restraint, passed down through Japanese culture.

As these elements overlap,
invisible threads are woven
between people, and between people and art.

A Café and a Gallery

At Art Café Itoyufu,
we create our own coffee recipes under the supervision of a professional roaster,
pursuing “a truly delicious cup” every single day.

Each month, we feature just one type of coffee bean.
The grind size, brew time, temperature, and dripper
are all adjusted according to the character of each month’s beans.

But this is not a place to enjoy flavor alone.

What makes Art Café Itoyufu truly distinctive
is the gallery space that accompanies the café.

With a cup of coffee in hand,
we invite you to step into the gallery tucked away inside.

The gallery is a realm of imagination—
engaging taste, sight, smell, sound, and touch.

Art Café Itoyufu offers a space
where the five senses cross their boundaries.

About the Craft Brand QUTOTEN.

Art Café Itoyufu is fully produced by QUTOTEN.,
a Kyoto-based Japanese craft brand.

Founded in 2022,
QUTOTEN. began with the creation of plant pots.
Inspired by Japanese traditions and aesthetics,
the brand deliberately embraces the labor-intensive process
of handmade vessels and craft.

At Itoyufu,
you can view QUTOTEN.’s vessels and products year-round.

In addition,
future exhibitions will give rise to collaborations
with various artists.
